Tanning Ledges

At Morehead Pools, one of the most popular features we include in our pool designs in the tanning ledge. This is the part of the pool that extends into very shallow water for the purpose of lounging without having to get out.

The tanning ledge got its name because it is the perfect place to stay cool while you catch some rays. Most of the time tanning ledges include bubblers, the small underwater fountains that gently push water above the surface and provide calming, tranquil sounds.
